نسترن زارعمنش، مادر ۴۰ سالهای بود که در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در محله نازیآباد تهران جان باخت. او بر اثر شلیک مستقیم نیروهای امنیتی به سر و قلبش مورد هدف قرار گرفت و در لحظات پایانی زندگی، در آغوش همسرش جان سپرد. از این جانباخته دو فرزند، یک پسر ۱۰ ساله و یک دختر ۶ ساله، به یادگار مانده است. نام نسترن زارعمنش در میان جانباختگان جنبشی که با نام «انقلاب شیر و خورشید» شناخته میشود، به عنوان نمادی از فداکاری مادران ایران ثبت شده است.
